Hi! I’m Kemi  and  have been happily married for 10 years to my amazing King-my Plantain Boy whom I met in Primary School. I must boast in the fact that God has blessed us with an amazing marriage where we have so much fun – There’s never a dull moment in the Plantain Palace (My hubby is addicted to Plantain)!

In November 2016 after 5 years, 1 miscarriage, 3 rounds of IVF and 1 Frozen transfer, my dream of becoming a mother came true and we have been blessed with a beautiful baby boy who keeps us on our toes. Other than enjoying being parents, my husband and I enjoy spending time with friends and youth, cultivating our businesses and not taking ourselves too seriously.

I graduated with a BA Honours in Media and Cultural Studies but, after 3 years in the industry, realised that  my love and interest in property far outweighed being an editor. I sat professional exams and have been a Mortgage Broker for over 9 years whilst also running three businesses and, many other things on the side – I can’t keep still.

I love to cook – there’s something therapeutic about it and seeing people enjoy your creations. If there’s an event, you certainly will not find me on the dance floor but, in the kitchen or helping out with the food!

There was a time when I could read a book in a couple of days but with how busy I am, it can take me over a month! I love Francine Rivers’ books.

I absolutely LOVE my church! It’s part of me and has helped shape me into the woman I am today. I really do see it as my extended family and am grateful for the amazing network of friends I have gained.

I must not forget two other important factors about me –

1. I LOVE all things Yellow –  it’s just an amazing colour!

2. I LOVE tea! Redbush tea, Green tea, peppermint tea, cranberry tea, chai tea, normal tea, I just love tea!
